What sort of run time can you get from a Makita cordless blower?

Makita’s cordless blowers offer impressive power and run times for a cordless tool. The DUB362Z 36V blower can run for over two hours with two fully charged batteries. Run time will depend on which of its three speeds you choose to operate at. Even at max speed, you should get better than 30 minutes off a single charge with two batteries.

Make sure you’re fully stocked with Makita batteries so your cordless tools are always ready to run.

Petrol vs. cordless leaf blowers

Cordless leaf blowers are quieter, which makes them a great choice if you live in a busy neighbourhood where you need to consider your neighbours before firing up the outdoor tools for a bit of a gardening.

Petrol blowers are heavier and noisier than cordless, but they output huge power and will run as long as you keep fuel in the tank. For example, the petrol PM7650H blower has a 3kW motor that can create air speeds over 330km/h. This is more powerful than even the most powerful cordless blowers like the superb DUB363PT2V.

We recommend petrol for professionals who use blowers as part of their daily work life, while we find the cordless blowers to be perfect for most home DIY experts and tradies who want a lightweight, fuel-free tool to keep around for tidy up.
