How to use a spirit level

It’s so simple to use a spirit level: just line it up on the surface of the object where you want to find the horizon (the true horizontal). Allow the bubble to float to the top of the spirit tube, and closing one eye, take note of where the bubble lies. If it’s centered between the lines on the tube, it’s level and you can proceed with your project.
