What are the benefits of using a track saw?

The track saw is a precision tool specifically designed for making long, straight cuts. 

With this portable tool, you can make long cuts more quickly and easily than with a table saw or circular saw. And unlike a table saw, you can easily move the track saw around as your needs require.

Some track saws also come complete with grippy guide rails that let you make a cut without clamping down the guide. This is great for quickly taking some material off a board or door, without having to waste time clamping and unclamping. With the inbuilt tracks, there’s no need to test cut or make measurements that end up being off, just place the track down and go to work.
