DeWalt / Dewalt Hand Tools / Staple Guns

Recognised for their efficiency and accuracy, our DeWalt staple guns make a great air tool that minimises your effort.

These staple firing tools are great alternatives to glue, nails, or screws, and are suitable for materials that are prone to splitting. You can rely on a staple gun for stretching canvas, hanging backdrops, upholstery, building furniture, or fastening subfloors. Our staple guns are designed with special features to complete unique tasks with more ease; for example, our DeWalt 18V staple guns are specifically designed to assist with electrical work.

All DeWalt tools are reliable and effective hardware tools, and DeWalt staple guns are no exception. These cordless staple guns are also battery-operated, making them a portable item that allows you to work around your materials effortlessly.

How to load a DeWalt staple gun

Follow the steps below to ensure that you use your staple gun properly.

1. Locate the pusher rod at the back of the gun. You should be looking for a small metal rectangle with indentations on both sides and a small hook at the bottom or top.
2. Push in on the rod and pull it out.
3. Load the staples over the guide rails and let them slide all the way down to the front of the gun.
4. Put back the pusher to secure the staples and locks the pusher in place.
5. Test your staple gun on a piece of paper or wood to ensure that the staples are loaded properly.
