Choosing the right sandpaper

Sandpaper rolls are necessary and more cost-effective if you are undergoing larger-than-life projects or a tradesman. For smaller jobs that won’t take long, sandpaper sheets are fine. While the most commonly used grits are 80, 120, and 220, it can also depend on the project and materials being removed as to which grit will get the job done. Lower grits are coarser, whereas higher grits are used for those more refined finishes. When sanding by hand, always use a cork block to ensure that your sheets last longer and provide better final results.
