The Tramex Moisture Encounter ME5 is a professional-grade pinless moisture meter designed to quickly and non-destructively detect moisture in wood, drywall, plaster, masonry, roofing materials and more. Featuring dual-depth scanning technology, it measures moisture up to 9mm and 30mm deep to help identify whether moisture is present at the surface or within the core of the material. The ME5 provides actual moisture content percentage readings for wood, is pre-calibrated for a wide range of building materials, and pairs with the Tramex Meters App to create moisture maps, store readings and generate reports for professional documentation.
