The Lincoln Electric Primacore® MW-71 is a basic-rutile, flux-cored welding wire designed for all-position welding of mild steel in applications requiring moderate levels of strength and good impact toughness. Primacore® MW-71 provides great arc stability and smooth bead appearance, even on out-of-position welds. Primacore® MW-71 is designed specifically for use with mixed gas in welding 490N/mm tensile steels. It is suitable for the following applications: general fabrication, heavy equipment fabrication, offshore drilling rig construction, shipbuilding and bridge fabrication.
