These Drill Chuck Arbors are used to mount a drill chuck or any other tool which has a female taper shank onto a machine. They're manufactured from case hardened Hi-Tensile steel, and are hardened 54-58HRC for increased resistance to wear.

Features:

• Hardened and ground drill chuck arbors, used to mount a drill chuck or any other tool which has a female taper onto a machine such as a drilling machine which has a female taper socket in its work-head.
• Manufactured from case hardened Hi-Tensile Steel (20 MnCr5/SAE 8620), all arbors are case hardened 54 - 58 HRC for increased resistance to wear. 
• Precision grinding to very close tolerance with concentricity controlled to within 0.0004" (10 microns) and accurately gauged self locking tapers ensure close tolerance fit.
