The LM-OF 1400 is a dual-function retrofit bonnet for the OF 1400 router: it lights up the cut area with a 360 degree LED ring AND houses the dust extraction port. Two problems that affect router work get solved in the one accessory. Shadows from the router's own bulk no longer fall across the cut line, so you can see exactly where the bit is meeting the workpiece. And the dust the bit throws up gets pulled out at source, instead of clouding the view of the line you're trying to follow. The LED light ring runs in two brightness levels via an integrated rechargeable battery. Up to 6 hours of run time on a charge, with USB-C charging through a standard cable. No proprietary battery to source, no spare pack to keep on the bench. The bonnet itself mounts on the router table without tools, so the upgrade from a standard OF 1400 to a lit one takes seconds and goes back to standard just as quickly when you need to swap setups. Retrofits all OF 1400 router models. The integrated dust extraction port connects to any Festool CT or CTL extractor via standard hose.
