Intermediate hand taps are designed for the second stage of threading, used after a taper tap to further form and deepen internal threads. They provide improved control and accuracy, making them ideal for preparing threads before final finishing in both through and blind holes.

Features:

• Used after a taper lead tap and are suitable for through holes or blind holes where the thread does not need to go right to the bottom of the hole
• Square shank for use with a suitable tap wrench to drive the tap
• Made from M2 High Speed Steel for wear resistance and toughness
