Comweld Comcoat C is a self-fluxing, low-fuming manganese bronze filler rod designed for braze welding a variety of metals. With high bond (transverse tensile) strength, it is ideal for joining steel, cast iron, and malleable iron, making it a reliable choice for maintenance and general workshop use. Not suitable for copper pipes carrying hot or seawater due to potential dezincification - use Comweld Tobin Bronze or Comcoat T for those applications. A versatile and essential rod for everyday welding tasks.
