Chemtools Mineral Turps (also known as Stoddard solvent) is a petroleum based liquid which is commonly used as a cleaning and degreasing solvent, it can also be used as a paint thinner.

Features:

• Good solvency for oil, grease, wax and silicone

Application:

• Degreasing and cleaning solvent, especially in engineering and automotive workshops
• The manufacturing of oil-based paints and varnishes
• Thinning and cleaning of oil-based paints and varnishes
• Removing tar and bitumen from painted surfaces, metals, and some plastics

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place, in tightly closed original containers, at a room temperature of between 5°C to 30°C. Do not place in direct sunlight or near any heat source. Do not return any used material to its original container.

Safety:

• Do not spray aerosol near eyes or face.
• Do not spray near a naked flame or any hot surface, and keep away from sources of ignition – no smoking.
• Keep out of reach of children. Extremely flammable.
• Protect pressurised dispenser from sunlight and do not expose it to temperatures exceeding 50°C.
• Do not leave in car interiors.
• Do not pierce or burn even after use.
• Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating or inhaling contents may be harmful or fatal.
