3M's non woven, open web material, Scotch-Brite General Purpose Hand Pad is an excellent starting point to clean, finish, grain, denib and defuzz timber and metal. This hand pad can be used by hand, with a pad block or in an in-line sander.

• Is comparable to steel wool grade 1, however won't shred during use, rust or create fine metal splinters

• Can be used by hand for precise control, with a hand block for uniform finish or line sander to cover large areas
